FOOTIE fans are convinced the Premier League is “RIGGED” after fixtures for the 2024/25 season were revealed.
All 20 teams learned their fate on the opening weekend of the 24/25 campaign on Tuesday morning.
Manchester United kick off the season on Friday, August 16, hosting Fulham at Old Trafford.
Defending champions Manchester City face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 18 August in the most flavorful game of the opening weekend.
Ipswich Town received a baptism of fire in their first Premier League match for over 22 years with a home game against Liverpool.
Arsenal have had a difficult start to the campaign, facing three of last season’s top five in their opening five matches.
And that prompted one of the Emirates faithful to say: “Aston Villa, Spurs and City all away from home in the first five games.
“It wasn’t manipulated at all.”
Another said: “Both Spurs and City are out?
“If this doesn’t get fixed, then I don’t know what will.”

And another said: “The start of the season looks terrible but, dare I say, our matchup looks pretty good.”
One commented: “I’ve just seen City and it’s absolutely rigged in their favour.”
Liverpool’s trip to Portman Road will be their seventh in the Premier League history they faced a promoted team in the season opener.
Reacting to Newsone fan simply said, “Rigged.”
Another said with a laughing GIF: “Liverpool with a newly promoted team again on opening day.”
One asked: “Why do Liverpool always play a newly promoted team in the first week?”
In total, there will be 380 Premier League games spread over 33 weekends, four midweek rounds and a week of holiday games.
