During his playing career, the former Napoli star became synonymous with his iconic mohawk hairstyle.

Now, Marek Hamsik wears a more conventional look.

The former midfielder has a classic short haircut with a fade on the back and sides.

He is best known for his 12-year spell at Napoli between 2007 and 2019.

The Slovakian star scored 121 goals in 520 appearances for the Italian side, earning legendary status in the process.

He played for Dalian Professional, IFK Goteborg and Trabzonspor before hanging up his boots last year.

Hamsik played 138 matches for his country, scoring 26 goals and appearing in three major tournaments in the process.

All the way he showed off his iconic barnet, which has since been left aside.
