MYKHAILO MUDRYK surprised fans with the “worst shot you’ve ever seen” in Ukraine’s clash with Slovakia.
The Chelsea winger started his team’s second game at Euro 2024 on Friday afternoon.
However, he had a moment to forget during the first half at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf.
Ukraine had already fallen behind thanks to Ivan Schranz’s goal as they sought an equalizer.
After receiving the ball in midfield, Mudryk attacked the retreating Slovak defense.
Despite the options on the right and left, the 23-year-old chose to go it alone and shoot from around 25 meters.
However, Mudryk only managed to find the stands, as he fired his shot high into the air and away from the goal.
As the ball whistled into the crowd, Mudryk looked embarrassed as he turned and looked at the ground.
Reacting to the strike on social media, one fan wrote: “Mudryk with possibly the worst shot you’ve ever seen.”
Another added: “Mudryk… What’s really wrong with Chelsea’s £100m man.”

A third fan also commented: “Mudryk tries a shot but the shot is about 20 yards away.”
Meanwhile, one more said: “What an interesting photo of Mudryk.”
Fortunately for Mudryk, who was substituted late, Ukraine staged a second-half comeback to take all three points.
Mykola Shaparenko’s equalizer was followed by substitute Roman Yaremchuk’s winner 10 minutes from time.
