ROY KEANE and Gary Neville have criticized England’s dull first-half performance against Slovenia.
The Three Lions once again lacked inspiration in the last game of Group C of Euro 2024.
Bukayo Saka finished the only good move Gareth Southgate’s team made, but it was ruled offside.
There was another good moment when Jude Belligham sent in a dangerous cross, but neither Harry Kane nor Conor Gallagher were able to clear it.
Keane was not impressed with the performance as he hit on players at half-time.
Speaking to ITV, he said: “It’s been very slow and sloppy.
“The only good moment was the offside.
“Step in front of someone and be brave enough to lose the ball.”
Gary Neville echoed Keane’s sentiments in labeling the players’ display as “basic”.
The retired defender also stated that the players on the bench could do better.

He added: “We look really basic and we are better than that and we have players on the bench who are better than that.
“We look pretty basic and that’s a problem.”
Thanks to results elsewhere, the Three Lions had already qualified for the round of 16.
Previously, Keane responded to Declan Rice’s comments criticizing player criticism.
He suggested that modern players are more sensitive to criticism and that they need to “roll up their sleeves”.
