KYLE WALKER was given a brutal 3/10 rating during England’s goalless draw with Slovenia in their final group C match at Euro 2024.
Despite leading their group, the English players failed to distinguish themselves again when the European press criticized Gareth Southgate.

Southgate aimed to solve his midfield conundrum by bringing Conor Gallagher in for Trent-Alexander Arnold.
But the only England ball that got past Jan Oblak and into the back of the net was a shot from Bukayo Saka – which was quickly ruled out for offside.
And Europe’s main press criticized and mocked England’s terrible performance, revealing its “embarrassment” and “impotence”.
Spanish newspaper Marca asked the relentless question: ‘What the hell is wrong with Southgate?’
Walker, 34, was branded a ‘failure’ and was brutally rated just 3/10 by French channel L’Equipe for his display.
The Manchester City full-back rarely looked to advance and was lucky that Jordan Pickford was alert to his return pass.
L’Equipe stated that Walker ‘pretty much lost everything he did’ and ‘looked unrecognizable that night’.
He also sent a cross over the post from a promising position to kill a promising chance late in the first half.

He made one key tackle, one block and zero interceptions.
Walker also failed to link up well with Saka, who failed to stamp his authority on the right wing before being replaced by Cole Palmer, to the delight of the English fans.
The outlet was also unimpressed with Jude Bellingham and gave him a 3/10 as well.
The Real Madrid midfielder struggled to stand out against Slovenia and was moved to the left in the second half.
Bellingham lost the ball 16 times, the most of any player, and offered ZERO shots, tackles and chances created from the No10.
Gallagher received a 4/10 for his performance before his half-time replacement by Kobbie Mainoo, who injected energy into his fifth senior appearance.
Phil Foden, Kieran Trippier and John Stones received a 5/10 rating.
Harry Kane, Declan Rice and Pickford performed slightly better and got 6/10.
The German newspaper Bild belittled England by arguing that “these lions are kittens” and stated that “the criticism will only get worse”.
And Three Lions fans even threw cups at Southgate as players paraded onto the pitch to thank spectators.
Brand also stated that ‘you can’t play worse’ than England and believes Southgate should be FIRED mid-tournament.
