England fans in Cologne the boos doubled Gareth Southgate and the team after another poor performance in Euro 2024.

The Three Lions won Group C but struggled as they drew 0-0 with Slovenia on Tuesday night (25 June).

Some fans made their feelings clear at full time, booing as players left the field, and several empty cups were also thrown at Southgate.

The morning after the game, three fans who were still in Cologne shared their thoughts on what happened at the final whistle.

Although they agreed that the throwing of glasses – by a minority of supporters – was unnecessary, they defended the booing.
