Red card and negotiation goals! Chaos as Panama and USA face off in Group C

The United States’ Copa América Group C clash with Panama descended into chaos on Thursday night in Atlanta.

Although the USA dominated the first 20 minutes, they appeared to dig themselves a hole when Timothy Weah was sent off for violent conduct.

The Juventus player appeared to let his frustration get the better of him as he punched a Panamanian defender behind the play. But VAR is always watching and Weah has been given his marching orders.

Dramatically, the United States took the lead shortly afterwards when Folarin Balogun fired a stunning shot onto the post just minutes later to shock their Group C rivals.

The chaos would not stop there, as the celebrations were barely over before Cesar Blackman calmed the pro-USA crowd by beating Matt Turner with a penalty kick.

Get your popcorn ready, folks, it’s the crazy night of the Copa América.
