Barrow have signed Barnsley striker Andy Dallas on a season-long loan.

The 24-year-old Scot scored once in four League One games for the Tykes last season after joining Solihull Moors in July 2023.

He was also loaned to Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock and National League side Oldham.

“He has the ability to stretch defenses and technically can finish with both feet, so I’m really looking forward to working with him.” boss Stephen Clemence told the club’s website.

Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Sam Foley has signed a new one-year contract.

The 37-year-old made 92 appearances for the Bluebirds across two seasons.

The League Two club also announced that goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach Josh Lillis will leave at the end of his contract next week after failing to agree terms on a new deal.

Lillis joined the club as a substitute in 2020 and made 15 appearances.
