Newcastle United have turned the loan of Chelsea defender Lewis Hall into a permanent swap for £28m.
The 19 year old joined the Magpies last August and made 22 appearances, scoring two goals, during the 2023-24 season.
“I’m extremely proud to be able to build on last season and continue my journey at Newcastle United,” said the England Under-21 left-back.
“When you wear the black and white shirt you don’t feel like it and playing in front of the best fans in the country is even more special for me, being a Toon fan.
“I gained a lot of experience last season and, with the squad we have, we will try to advance even further this season. I can’t wait to get started.”
Hall rose through the ranks at Chelsea and made his first-team debut in the FA Cup victory against Chesterfield in January 2021.
“As well as being a talented player, he has a great attitude towards the game and his own development and I’m excited for this next part of his journey in a Newcastle United shirt,” said Magpies manager Eddie Howe.
