FANS joked that Neymar needed to call Gareth Bale after he ruined a golf course with a horrible shot.
The 32-year-old Brazilian recently made headlines when he celebrated his daughter Mavie’s half birthday alongside his ex-partner Bruna Biancardi.
He is now playing for Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal after leaving Paris Saint-Germain for them in a £77.6m transfer last summer.
That move made him one of the richest players in the world after signing a contract worth more than £2.5 a week – SIX TIMES what he earned at PSG.
But the former Barcelona striker made just five appearances before tearing his anterior cruciate ligament while on international duty in October.
This ruled him out for the rest of the season and allowed him plenty of free time for his other interests.
Neymar tried golf this week on a visit to Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.
The star shared several photos of his round on Instagram, captioning them with the words “Golf day.”
However, a clip was shared on social media showing him trying to tee off in disastrous fashion.
Neymar makes a violent swing with the wood, but instead of hitting the ball, he rips a huge piece of grass off the ground.

And it has led to some fans calling for him to stick with football or take a few lessons from legendary Welsh star Bale – who was famous for his love of golf and his silky skills on the course.
“Maybe Bale can give you some tips,” replied one fan.
Another wrote: “RIP golf course.”
A third declared: “Maybe it’s better to keep playing football @neymarjr?”
PGA Tour star Rory McIlroy was impressed by Bale’s golf swing they competed in the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am at Wentworth last year.
The former Wales captain and five-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid was even tipped to achieve a zero handicap with a few more years of experience from the golf icon.
However, Bale still insisted earlier this year that he feels far from professional standards despite receiving widespread praise.
The former Tottenham striker explained: “There’s a big difference, don’t get me wrong. But they really just think about the course, they don’t make those silly mistakes, when they hit a bad shot, they hit a bad shot in the right place, they just go up and down from all over the place.
“The focus they have, you can see it in their eyes, they are so focused on every photo.
“I feel like, for example, being an amateur, I can easily hit a few good shots and think I’m better than I am, and then fall apart again and have to work again. ”
Bale added: “So just seeing, I think, the practice they’ve put in, obviously they’ve put themselves in a position where they’ll continue to play without making too many mistakes.
“Something that I would love to do more now than I have time for is practice and try to improve and try to get to a better handicap.”
Regarding Neymar, reports recently emerged that he wanted to join Inter Miami.
David Beckham’s MLS franchise has several of Neymar’s former Barcelona teammates, including Lionel Messi.
And during a trip to watch F1, he admitted he would love to reunite with Messi.
