Bayern Munich host Arsenal in the big second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday, and it is very close to happening.

Bayern’s season depends on them winning the Champions League and Thomas Tuchel, who leaves next month, is desperate to end his time at Bayern on a high. The German giants played with that desperation in their 2-2 first-leg draw with Arsenal last week, and as long as they have Harry Kane, they have a great chance of beating Arsenal. The atmosphere will be quite lively at the Allianz Arena as this looks to be the last dance for the rejuvenated Bayern squad this summer.
Arsenal are recovering from Sunday’s shock home defeat to Aston Villa and Mikel Arteta’s side are now focused on providing the right response to ensure their Premier League and Champions League dreams do not fall by the wayside. They played well against Villa in the first half but looked very tired in the second and it will be intriguing to see how Arteta lines up Arsenal from the start. All the advances they made this season are now about to be tested.
Whoever wins in Munich will face the winner of Manchester City x Real Madrid in the semi-finals, so they know they will have a very difficult road to the final at Wembley.
