Major League Soccer is back; this time, Minnesota United is in the spotlight.

The club’s four-game losing streak is set to be extended after a terrible defensive error gave the Vancouver Whitecaps the lead.

Ryan Gauld put Michael Boxall under pressure, and the defender’s slow, misplaced pass opened the door.

Gauld attacked and easily helped Brian White from close range. The striker is now Vanocuver’s top scorer in MLS regular season history (40 goals).

Things took a turn from bad to worse for Minnesota about 15 minutes later.

Gauld, once again the creator, sent a delicious cross into the box, which Mathías Laborda headed in easily.

Vancouver won 2-0 with two shots on goal. How bad could this be for Minnesota?
