Kroos won four LaLiga titles and five Champions League medals during his time at the Bernabéu.

But after his contract expired, the midfielder looks ready to hang up his boots after the conclusion of Euro 2024.

This means he could technically become the first German to win the Euros without having a contract with a club.

Kroos is now looking for his next venture, as discussed in the podcast he runs with his brother Felix.

Per PhotographFormer footballer Felix said: “From today you are without a club.”

The older brother, Kroos, laughing, replied: “It’s good that you live without a club and without a job.

“It gives me a good feeling until the end of the tournament.”

Felix added: “But I read that you can become Germany’s first European champion without a club. That’s also a goal.”
