Evander is a man on a mission this season for the Portland Timbers and has been rewarded for his efforts with a selection to the MLS All-Star team.
The Brazilian scored a goal and an assist in just over an hour against FC Dallas on Thursday night, reaching an impressive milestone in the process.
After setting up Antony to open the scoring at the start of the first half, the two Brazilians combined once again just after the hour mark to level the score.
This time it was Evander who connected with Antony’s cross, although the former started the play in midfield.
There are now nine games this season in which Evander has scored two or more goals, showing why he is perhaps one of the most underrated strikers in all of MLS.
With his goal in the 63rd minute tonight, Evander became the third player in the @TimbersFC history of producing at least 10 goals and 10 assists in a single season, joining Diego Valeri (four times) and Sebastián Blanco (2018). pic.twitter.com/tIzz9kqZ57

Earlier this season, Timbers coach Phil Neville stated that Evander was one of the top ten players in North America. Does he have a point?
