Brighton have confirmed the signing of former Arsenal player Amario Cozier-Duberry.
Several European clubs have been credited with an interest in the teenager, including Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United.
But the Seagulls won the race to land Cozier-Duberry’s signature on a four-year deal after he became a free agent earlier this summer.
“We are delighted to be able to bring Amario to the club,” said Brighton technical director David Weir.
“He has attributes that we like and we believe he is a player who can flourish in our environment.
“We look forward to working with him and helping his career advance.”
Fabian Hürzeler’s team kicks off their Premier League campaign with a visit to Everton’s ground on August 17th.
