MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sign Joshua Zirkzee.
The Red Devils are hoping to increase their attacking options in this summer transfer window, and the Dutchman is one of their main targets.
Man United have agreed terms with the striker but have not yet decided how to structure a deal with Bologna.
Fabrizio Romano reported that terms were agreed between Zirkzee and the club.
He also stated that Man United need to decide on paying his £34m release clause.
It is suggested that the club negotiate new terms with the Serie A team on the structure of the deal.
This means the Old Trafford outfit could look to spread the cost of the transfer over a number of years rather than paying the full fee straight away.
New terms could be preferred by Bologna as they owe 50 percent of the transfer fee to Bayern Munich.
This is due to a sell-on clause inserted into his contract when he left the Bundesliga giants in 2022.
Zirkzee has attracted a lot of interest in recent months following his impressive season in Italy.

The Dutch international has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Bayern and AC Milan.
However, it appears a move to Old Trafford is the most likely destination for the 23-year-old.
Bologna have previously confirmed they are “99.9 percent sure to leave” the club this summer.
He is currently in Germany after being late called up to the Dutch squad for Euro 2024.
His call came after Frenkie de Jong’s injury ruled him out of the tournament.
He will be in the Oranje squad when they face England in the semi-finals on Wednesday night.
