Hello and welcome to the SunSport Spain v France live blog?
Spain will have to reshuffle their group in their thrilling Euro 2024 semi-final clash against neighbors France TONIGHT!
La Roja beat hosts Germany in the quarterfinals to continue their 100 percent tournament winning streak and book their place in the semi-finals.
Spain have been one of the few teams to put in consistently impressive performances in Germany.
Luis de la Fuente’s team led much of the second half against the hosts following substitute Dani Olmo’s goal.
Mikel Merino prevented the game from going to penalties with a header in the 119th minute after Florian Wirtz forced extra time late in the game.
Meanwhile, France are at the opposite end of the entertainment scale after winning on penalties against Portugal in the quarter-finals.
Kylian Mbappe and company have yet to score a goal from open play.
But that doesn’t matter as Didier Deschamps’ side are now one win away from a third grand final in four tournaments.
Furthermore, Les Bleus will feel much more confident knowing that the likes of Pedri, Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand will be absent from this big competition.
Don’t go anywhere as we’ll have the latest news, exclusives and starting line-ups all before the 8pm BST kickoff.
