‘This can never be beaten’, comments commentator as Lamine Yamal becomes youngest Euros scorer

SPAIN star Lamine Yamal has become the youngest goalscorer in Euro history.

And one commentator reckons the 16-year-old’s incredible record will “NEVER be surpassed” after reacting to the wonder strike with joy.

Yamal needed just 21 minutes to score his first goal of the tournament, with Spain losing 1-0 to France at the time.

Randal Kolo Muani gave his country the lead after just eight minutes.

But Yamal, who had yet to score at the Euros despite shining throughout the tournament, responded in style.

The Barcelona teenager diverted the ball outside the France box before cutting inside with his left foot and firing into the top corner of the net.

Yamal’s goal sparked huge celebrations among the Spanish players.

And he advanced towards the touchline before being hugged by his teammates.

Yamal is now the youngest scorer in a Euro final, at 16 years and 362 days.

The strike means he has overtaken previous starter Johan Vonlanthen, who was 18 years and 141 days old when he scored for Switzerland at Euro 2004.
