POINT sensation Cole Palmer is NOT earning a dime more in goal bonuses.
Chelsea’s £42.5m summer signing has scored 20 Premier League goals this season and is level with former Manchester City team-mate Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot.
Yet 21-year-old playmaker Palmer had no qualms about insisting on a goal bonus when signing his seven-year, £80,000-a-week contract with the Blues last September.
And he will be in for a surprise now as his goalkeeping prowess saw him move to two exclusive Premier League clubs on Monday night.
The England international scored FOUR times against Everton in a comprehensive 6-0 victory.
It was the 40th time a player had scored four goals in a Premier League game.
It is also the first record of four goals since Kevin de Bruyne achieved the feat against Wolves in May 2022.
And that wasn’t the only elite group Palmer joined on a special night at Stamford Bridge.
This is because his hat-trick in the first half was perfect – a left-footed shot, a header and a right-footed shot to seal the game.
This makes him the 36th player to achieve a perfect hat-trick in the Premier League.

The most recent before Palmer was Haaland against Nottingham Forest in August 2022.
However, despite a memorable night for Palmer, she was still somewhat marred by an incident surrounding her penalty.
Chelsea teammates Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson tried to take the penalty from regular taker Palmer before captain Conor Gallagher pushed them away.
And coach Mauricio Pochettino didn’t mince words after the game when addressing the situation.
He said: “It’s a shame. I told the players [in the dressing room] We cannot behave this way. I told them this is the last time I will accept this type of behavior.
“They are all involved in this situation, next time they will all be out. This is not a joke.
“It is impossible after a performance like this to see this type of behavior.
“If we want to be a great team, fighting for great things, we need to change and think more collectively.
“I made it clear to them, and now through the media, and I say to our fans and everyone, Cole Palmer is the penalty taker. And now it’s his choice if he wants to give the ball to another player, but not like this. .
“It’s very sad and I don’t want this to happen again. We behave like children.”
