In another thrilling quarter-final, Borussia Dortmund won 2-0 through Julian Brandt and Ian Maatsen, before a Mats Hummels own goal and an Angel Correa goal leveled the scores.
Atletico Madrid were in control but the hosts responded superbly, with Niclas Fullkrug and Marcel Sabitzer scoring to kick off the celebrations in Dortmund.
Manchester City and Arsenal still fly the Premier League flag, drawing 3-3 with Real Madrid and 2-2 with Bayern Munich, respectively, in the first legs.
If one or both English clubs manage to reach the final, they will have home advantage, with the country hosting the big game for the first time in 11 years.

When are the Champions League semi-finals?
The draw for the semi-finals has already been made and the game calendar will be released on Thursday (April 18).
There could be an all-English clash in the semi-finals, with the winners of Arsenal v Bayern Munich facing the winners of Real Madrid v Manchester City, while Borussia Dortmund will face PSG in the penultimate round.
