Tottenham have confirmed Troy Parrott’s permanent transfer to AZ Alkmaar.
The Republic of Ireland international departs after seven years at the club, during which time he came through the academy and made four senior appearances.
Parrott has spent much of his time on loan, with spells at Millwall, Ipswich, MK Dons and Preston North End before spending last season at Excelsior.
It was at the Eredivisie club that the 22-year-old impressed most, scoring 17 goals in 32 games, which led AZ to sign him permanently.
Parott will play football in the Europa Conference League with his new club, which will be driven by new Irish coach Heimir Hallgrímsson.
