Game delayed again
The kickoff of the Copa América final has been postponed until 9:15 pm ET after fans stormed the southwest gate of Hard Rock Stadium earlier this evening.

Fans were allowed into the stadium after security brought the situation under control.
It is still possible that the start time will be postponed again, but the players have already returned to the field.

The Copa América final is scheduled to begin at 8:45 pm ET.
Fans are still trying to enter the stadium after the chaos that ensued at the gates.
Hard Rock Stadium releases statement
The venue for the Copa América final asked fans without tickets to leave the venue.
“Ahead of tonight’s Copa América final, thousands of fans without tickets attempted to force their way into the stadium, putting other fans, security guards and police at extreme risk,” the statement read.
“Security closed the gates to control the entry process at a much slower pace and ensure everyone is kept safe. As a result, the start time for tonight’s game has been postponed until further notice to allow fans with tickets to safely enter the stadium.
“All fans without tickets MUST leave Hard Rock Stadium facilities. It is critical to a successful and, most importantly, safe game.”
Copa América final postponed
The start of the Copa América final between Colombia and Argentina was postponed due to fans rushing to the gates of the Hard Rock Stadium, Fox revealed.
Children crying outside the gates
Many fans still do not have access to Hard Rock Stadium as children can be seen crying outside the gates.
