MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly ready to fight Bayern Munich for Jonathan Tah.
The Red Devils have completed their first summer signing by bringing in Joshua Zirkzee.
The 23-year-old Dutch striker completed a £36.5million move from Bologna to Old Trafford on Sunday.
Now, coach Erik ten Hag hopes Zirkzee’s arrival is just the start of several other big additions.
The Dutchman is desperate to strengthen his defense and is known to be desperate to sign Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, the German giants are closing in on the acquisition of 28-year-old Tah from Bayer Leverkusen.
The defender was a key player for his country at Euro 2024 and his displays on the big stage impressed everyone.
However, now Sky Reporter Florian Plettenberg stated that United have entered the hunt to sign him as they have not yet reached an agreement with Bayern for De Ligt.
He posted on X: “They say Manchester United have asked about Jonathan #Tah in the last few days!
“Manchester is aware of the fact that there is no agreement between Bayern and Leverkusen.

“And: there is still no final agreement between ManUtd and Bayern on the transfer of Matthijs de Ligt.”
Meanwhile, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the exit at Old Trafford.

He said Caught out of play: “Willy Kambwala is leaving Manchester United on a permanent transfer to Villarreal.
“The young defender had one year left on his contract and was not negotiating a new contract, he wanted to play and now he will play in Spain.
“Villarreal must pay 10 million euros to Manchester United and then give the player a five-year contract, with a sell-on clause and also a buy-back clause for Man United.”

He made his debut for the team in the quarter-final victory over Turkey, before Zirkzee won his second cap in the Dutch’s semi-final defeat to England.
