BRAZIL legend Romário has come out of retirement at the age of 58.
The change takes place so that the samba star can fulfill his dream of playing with his 30-year-old son.

Yesterday it was revealed that Romário had signed up for América-RJ, a second division team from Rio.
Romário serves as president of the club and has been in the position since 2009.
Although he clarified that he will not play championship matches, Romário said he wants to play with his son, Romarinho, who plays for the club.
He said: “Now I’m ready to help my dear America in some games and also, of course, to fulfill my dream of sharing the field with my son.”
It is reported that Romário will receive and donate his minimum wage to the club.
After signing his contract it is said that there was “little bureaucracy” in his way of playing.
Romário retired from football in 2008.
He starred for Brazil in two World Cup finals and scored five goals as the South American country won the 1994 World Cup.

He has been president of América-RJ since 2009, having already come out of retirement to play a match at the club that year, playing 22 minutes in honor of his late father’s favorite team.
He was later elected senator for Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
Romário is often considered one of the best football players to have ever played the game and insisted that only two were better than him.
He began his playing career in 1985 with Vasco da Gama before moving to Europe in 1988.
Romário joined PSV before moving to Barcelona in 1993.
He scored 34 league goals for the Catalan giants in just 46 appearances.
Romário left for Flamengo in 1995 and spent time at Valencia, Al Sadd, Miami FC and Adelaide United.
For Brazil, he won 70 caps and scored 55 goals, winning the 1994 World Cup and the Copa América in 1989 and 1997.
