Loacdia, 30, signed for the Seagulls in a deal worth up to £15m but failed to cut it in the Premier League.

He made 46 appearances for the South Coast team, scoring just six goals.

After falling out of favor, he was loaned out several times to clubs such as Hoffenheim and FC Cincinnati.

In January 2022, he left Brighton on a free transfer and signed for VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga.

Locadia is now on a journey in which he has signed for Persian team Persepolis, Chinese team Cangzhou Mighty Lions and Spain’s SD Amorebieta.

Now he has landed his fifth club since leaving England, joining Spanish third-tier side CF Intercity.

Intercity rose to fame in January 2023 when they faced Barcelona in the Copa del Rey.

The minnows forced the tie into extra time, with Oriol Soldevila scoring three goals in the second half.
