The pub team that caused one of the biggest European upsets of recent times managed a huge draw in their second round of the Europa Conference League.
BrunoThe Magpies surprised the football world earlier this month by abandoning City of Derry out of the qualifiers for the third European club competition.
The Gibraltarians – formed in 2013 by a group of friends drinking in a bar called Bruno’s – won a draw with the League of Ireland side 3-2, moving closer to qualifying for the tournament.
But they caught a huge fish for the second round, the first stage of which takes place next Thursday.
The minnows, whose name has gone viral, will have to get past Danish giants FC Copenhagen if they want to have any hope of qualifying for the competition.
The draw quickly became the conversation of football fans on social media, with one saying: “Living the dream”.
Another said: “So crazy.”
And another said: “Amateur pub team against the biggest club in QR2.
“No matter the result, it will be a magical experience for the Magpies.”
One commented: “I love football.”

Another added: “Absolutely epic that “the best pub team in the world” face the capital of Denmark.”
Bruno’s Magpies will face an incredibly difficult task to replicate Derry’s mammoth slaughter against the Danes.
Copenhagen competed in the Champions League last season and played a major role in Manchester United’s elimination from the tournament.
The Danes lost their first Group A match against the Red Devils 1-0, although they won 4-3 in the second leg.
