Rangers and Fenerbahçe know their opponents in the UCL qualifiers

Rangers were drawn against either Dinamo Kviv or FK Partizan in the third qualifying round of this season’s Champions League.

The Gers will face either the Ukrainian or Serbian giants in the week beginning August 6, with the second leg scheduled for August 13.

Meanwhile, José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe will travel to Swiss side Lugano in the second round before facing Lille in the third round.

Still in the League draw, Slavia Prague faces Union SG from Belgium and Red Bull Salzburg faces Twente.

The Champions League will take on a new format this season, with a single league structure replacing the old group stages.

The new Swiss model sees 36 teams play eight matches each, with the top eight automatically qualifying for the knockout stage and teams between ninth and 24th face a two-legged play-off to advance.

The opening games will take place on September 17th.
