ARSENAL have managed just one of their four transfer targets this summer.
The Gunners are looking to build on their second-place finish in a row to win the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
However, Mikel Arteta has so far made just one addition to his squad ahead of the new season.
David Raya completed a £27m move from Brentford after his loan deal was made permanent.
However, Arsenal remain interested in signing a defender, a midfielder and a striker before the start of the campaign.
A deal to sign long-term target Riccardo Calafiori is getting closer, while The mirror reports that the club are also pursuing Viktor Gyokeres and Mikel Merino.
Calafiori gave his word to Arsenal after a fee agreement was reached with Bologna.
The transfer was delayed by a dispute between the Serie A side and his former club Basel over a sell-on clause.
Arteta is expected to push to sign a midfielder and a striker once Calafiori arrives at the Emirates Stadium.
Gyokeres is a long-term target after scoring 43 goals for Sporting Lisbon last season following his arrival from Coventry.

The Swedish striker would cost £85m, however, and Sporting would not be willing to sell him for less than his release clause.
He recently hinted at a move this summer, telling reporters: “It’s football. I can’t promise anything. I won’t be sad if I stay, I’m very happy, but we’ll see what happens.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal have been linked with a move for Merino since before he helped Spain win Euro 2024.
The former Newcastle midfielder is in the final year of his contract with Real Sociedad.
A fee in the region of £20m is expected to be enough to seal a deal, according to Atlético.
Arsenal begin the 2024/25 campaign at home to Wolves on August 17.
