Nice have announced the signing of right-back Jonathan Clauss from Ligue 1 rivals Nice.

The 31-year-old played for several clubs in France and joined Marseille in 2022.

That was when the defender was called up to the national team for the first time and has since played 13 times for Les Bleus, scoring two goals.

With his contract expiring next summer, Marseille profited from the deal, receiving a transfer fee of €5 million.
