Real Sociedad have confirmed that defender Robin Le Normand will join Atletico Madrid this summer.
Le Normand has spent the last seven years at La Real, where he played almost 170 LaLiga games and won the Copa del Rey in 2019/20.
And it is now confirmed that the Spanish international will leave the Basque Country this summer and join the capital club.
There were no further details from Atleti, who released this brief statement on Saturday morning.
Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad have reached an agreement for the transfer of Robin Le Normand, which will be formalized in the coming days, when the player returns from the vacation he is enjoying after winning EURO 2024 with Spain, on July 14.

This could be seen as something of a coup for Atleti, with Le Normand seen as one of the most sought-after central defenders in Europe this summer following his starring role for Spain at EURO 2024.
