CRYSTAL PALACE fans joked “we’re back” after a horror gaffe during a pre-season friendly against Crawley.
The Premier League Eagles traveled to League One Crawley in what turned out to be an eventful event.
Palace won 6-3 away from home, but a howler from Joachim Andersen was the lasting memory of the game.
After receiving the ball from the goalkeeper inside the six-yard box, Andersen slipped on the ball.
This allowed Rushian Marcus Amori Hepburn-Murphy to tap into an empty net – sending online fans into hysterics.
One said: “We’re back.”
Another joked: “I love this club.”
One added: “Laugh. Never do that again.”
Another said: “Get out of the way in pre-season.”
Andersen played in all four of Denmark’s Euro 2024 games until their round of 16 defeat to Germany.

Palace start the season without star Michael Olise following his £50m move to Bayern Munich.
And they also appear to have missed out on signing Ryan Sessegnon, who had been training with the Londoners.
Instead, free agent Sessegnon is close to sealing a return to his former club Fulham.
