CHELSEA striker Armando Broja has started plans to build a new dream home complete with a lush cinema, pool and spa.

The 22-year-old striker lived in an old four-bedroom house on a private estate in Surrey – not far from the Blues’ Cobham training ground.

But now the player has revealed plans to demolish £1.8 million to make way for a mansion – which will be complete with a boot and kit shop.

Broja hopes to build a larger, luxurious apartment with five beds, a games and entertainment area, cinema, gym, swimming pool and spa.

The proposed new home will also feature a large double-height entrance hall, retreat, office and covered outdoor terrace.

The Chelsea striker has applied to the local council for planning permission for a two-storey detached house with roof-top bedrooms, attic space and a garage.

In a planning statement, its planning officers said: “The proposal envisages a form of development that is in keeping with the character and appearance of the surrounding area in terms of size, scale, height and design.

“The proposal will have a high standard of architecture, finishing and landscaping, therefore it will significantly enhance the existing road scene and add positive value to the existing area.

“The proposed house aims to enhance the use of the land and internal space, creating a highly sustainable residence.

“Residential properties in this area mainly comprise large detached houses on substantial, often gated, land.”

The existing house has a games room, snug, wine cellar and living room with stone fireplace and fireplace.

But to boost Broja’s green credentials, the proposed new build will feature air source heat pumps, solar power, a heat recovery system and underfloor heating.

Chelsea fans worried about Armando Broja after Ben Chilwell posted bizarre video of the striker in just a towel

In an advertisement for the sale of the current house, the estate agents said: “The house has significant potential, either to build your dream home from scratch or to extend and modernize the existing property on this impressive flat plot of land.”

Land Registry records show Broja paid £1.8 million for the flat in December, just a month before it was loaned to Fulham.

He has now been linked with a move to a number of clubs including Everton, Crystal Palace, Wolves, AC Milan and Monaco.

Officials at this local council are expected to make a decision on the new construction in September and so far there have been no objections from neighbors.

The Sun has contacted Broja’s representatives for comment.

A few weeks ago, we exclusively revealed that the Chelsea striker was wanted by a Champions League team.

AC Milan were rumored to be interested in signing Broja, but SunSport understands the Italian giants would likely need to sell before buying.

‘Nightmare loan’

This could mean the departure of former Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.

Broja, who played in the Euros for Albania, suffered a nightmare loan spell at Fulham in the second half of the season.

The 22-year-old played just eight games, all on the bench.

It was the third loan of his career, after previous spells at Vitesse and Southampton.

Overall, he scored three goals in 38 games for his parent club.

Chelsea need to sell players to comply with the Profit and Sustainability Rules, and selling academy graduates like Broja amounts to pure profit.

Milan have done a lot of business with the Blues in recent years, having signed Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori from the West Londoners.

The Serie A defenders, who are set to appoint former Lille and Roma boss Paulo Fonseca as their new manager, are also keen to sign 25-year-old Tottenham right-back Emerson Royal.

Reports suggest there is a gap between the two clubs’ valuations – but there is hope a deal can be reached.

Chelsea star Carney Chukwuemeka has bought a £4.8million mansion with a huge swimming pool and high-tech CCTV.

The luxurious six-bedroom children’s apartment has a leisure complex that includes a 31×14 foot swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym and triple garage.

It has a grand entrance hall, gallery, seven bathrooms, five reception rooms, drawing room, sitting room, breakfast room, study and office.

The towering 9,393-square-foot pile also features a media and game room, bar, party terrace, and outdoor grill.

And it even has a children’s playground and a castle to boot.

In a sales brochure, the estate agents said: “The property is finished to a very high standard and has a range of features including underfloor heating, a programmable sound system and a sophisticated CCTV security system.

“The large galleried reception hall leads to the main reception rooms, all of which at the rear have French windows onto the entertaining terrace and gardens, whilst the family room has superb full-height concertina doors.

“The magnificent master suite has two dressing rooms, a secondary bathroom/living room and French windows onto a terrace overlooking the gardens.”

Chelsea signed 20-year-old Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa on a six-year contract in a deal thought to be worth £20m two years ago.

Land Registry records show he paid £4.8 million for his Surrey home, which had a guide price of £5.5 million.

But a property developer has now applied for planning permission to build three houses on nearby land, which Chukwuemeka has opposed.

In a letter to planners, he wrote: “My family and I are new to the property and this is perhaps planning application number four we have received since arriving at the property.

“Equity will continue to increase in properties, but the infrastructure remains the same.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea to build more houses on a plot of land that originally only had one house. It’s not supportive given the number of new properties being built there.”
