MANCHESTER UNITED fans may be starting to forgive Andre Onana after he demonstrated incredible skill against Prem rivals Arsenal.
United lost 2-1 to the Gunners in Los Angeles in the first game of the US tour.
Rasmus Hojlund gave the Red Devils the lead before leaving injured moments later, much to Erik ten Hag’s dismay.
Gabriel Jesus equalized for Arsenal before Gabriel Martinelli won for Mikel Arteta ten minutes from time.
But it was Onana who appears to have received huge plaudits among the United fans after some very poor and error-strewn performances last season.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper improved towards the end of last season – but now the turnaround appears to be complete.
This was after Onana used an incredible ground skill to leave Jesus blocking the air.
After receiving the ball from Jonny Evans, he tricked Jesus – who was chasing intently – by pretending to kick the ball long before it went away smoothly.
And the dummy in the 48th minute left many United fans dazzled.
One wrote: “ONANA ARE YOU CRAZY?”

A second said: “Onana can play as a midfielder.”
Others added: “He just cooked Jesus” and “I love the trust. He is very cold!”
While another noted: “Ten Hag and his coaches need to utilize Onana’s ballplaying skills more next season, they just do.”
United did at least have the consolation of winning the late penalty shootout 4-3.
And Onana was caught doing his best to fend off Arsenal’s Fabio Vieira and several of his teammates.
In a comical interaction, he took a step to the right and then started pointing at the huge space to his left, almost daring the Portuguese star to shoot there.
Before joining last summer for £47m, the goalkeeper was credited for his brilliant footwork skills.
It was cited as one of the main reasons why Ten Hag chose to bring Onana to Old Trafford, after he had impressed Champions League finalists Inter Milan the previous season.
