The United States men’s and women’s national teams turned in impressive performances in their second soccer match of the 2024 Olympics in France. With the men defeating New Zealand and the women defeating Germany by the same score of 4-1, the mood is high with one game remaining in the group stage for both teams.

Christian Polanco and Alexis Guerreros are here to discuss which players impressed them most on the men’s side in their most recent win and why the USWNT win was so much more important despite the lopsided score. They also talk about all the other Olympic football action, including the Dominican Republic’s loss to Spain and why there is still hope of them progressing to the next round.

Christian and Alexis then talk to USMNT captain Tyler Adams about playing for AFC Bournemouth with Michael B. Jordan as co-owner, his recovery from injury, and the drone spying scandal with the Canada women’s national team. The guys are then joined by Transfermarkt’s Manuel Veth to delve a little deeper into the fines and disciplinary measures applied to the Canadian women’s team and whether the repercussions of this are greater than people realize.
