ANDRÉ ONANA – 7: The Cameroon international was all action, but not just with his hands. As a possible sign of what’s to come next season, he has always looked to set moves at the back.

AARON WAN-BISSAKA – 7: Why United are actively looking to sell the former Crystal Palace right-back is a mystery.

HARRY MAGUIRE – 7: He recovered and seemed free of the calf injury that cost him at the end of last season.

LENY YORO – 6: Lost possession of the ball in the first minute only to come back and attack Gabriel Jesus. He left injured after 35 minutes.

HARRY AMASS – 5: United need support at left-back and he hopes to provide it, but the way they lost Gabriel Jesus for Arsenal’s equalizer has earned him a talk with the boss.

TOBY COLLYER – 6: Some good penetration play here, after strong games against Rosenborg and Rangers too.

CASEMIRO – 6: Looks a lot leaner than last year in pre-season. The Brazilian looked to be on his way this summer, but appears eager to stay and contribute.

STONE ASSEMBLY – 8: Good first half playing as number ten. He looked sharp constantly trying to get the ball and had a good shot well saved at the near post.

AMAD DIALLO – 5: Struggled to get into the game, but provided a good assist for Mount to shoot.

MARCUS RASHFORD-7: What a great 50-yard ball he produced from deep in his own half to set up Rasmus Hojlund for his goal.

RASMUS HOJLUND – 7: Scored a goal in the tenth minute when he got past Ayden Heaven and fired a shot through Karl Hein’s legs. Then, moments later, he was injured.

SUBSTITUTIONS

HANNIBAL (for Hojlund, 16) – 5: United played with a false nine again when he came on, but the play lacked power.

RHYS BENNETT (Yoro 35) – 6: Looked solid after coming on but was hooked at halftime.

JAMES SCANLON (Wan-Bissaka 45) – 5: Martinelli passed very easily on his way to the winning goal.

JONNY EVANS (Maguire 45) – 6: The veteran continues to be a good presence at the back.

SAM MURRAY (Accumulation 45) – 6: He played at left-back and had a decent second half.

MAXI OYEDELE (Casemiro 45) – 6: I worked hard in front of the four defenders.

SCOTT McTOMINAY (Mount 45) – 6: Acted as a false nine in conjunction with Wheatley and made some good runs forward.

ANTONIO (Amad 45) – 6: We watched and still wait to find out why United paid £86m for him.

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN (Collyer 45) – 6: He showed his experience to come back and head in when Arsenal threatened.

JADON SANCHO (Rashford 45) – 5: His second preseason game as the uneasy truce between him and the coach continues. He scored the winning penalty in the exhibition penalties at the end of the match.

ETHAN WHEATLEY (Hannibal 45) – 5: Came in and exchanged with McTominay in a false nine role, but didn’t get any decent chances. Just one to lose in the exhibition shootout at the end of the game.

WILL FISH (Bennett 45) – 5: He appeared to give up a challenge on Martinelli, allowing him to score and was reprimanded by Onana.
