Marcus Rashford produced an impressive performance that resembled his goalscoring best from two seasons ago, before adding to Erik ten Hag’s ongoing injury crisis when he limped off.
Rashford scored a penalty to cancel out Iker Losada’s opening goal and set up Casemiro’s winner.
Amad Diallo also showed huge improvement by finding the back of the net before Casemiro scored United’s third.
Betis responded with a goal from Diego Llorente, but the Red Devils were not to be denied after a solid performance in America.
But how did everyone else do? Check out SunSport’s player ratings below for more information:
TOM HEATON-5
The veteran goalkeeper will not want to see a replay of Real Betis’ first goal. He first failed to handle Rodri’s low cross as he jumped off the line, then passed the ball back to the same player who helped Iker Losada score.
AARON WAN-BISSAKA – 6
It seems strange that United would actively want to sell him. He continues to look like an excellent winger and one of the best individual defenders in the game.
VICTOR LINDELOF – 6
With Leny Yoro out for three months, he will fight Harry Maguire to partner Lisandro Martinez. They performed well side by side.

HARRY MAGUIRE – 7
As with Lindelof, Yoro’s injury opened the door for next season. Solid again in defense whilst actively looking to bring the ball out and initiate attacks.
HARRY AMASS – 6
The young full-back is full of energy and continued to advance in the early stages of the match.
SCOTT MCTOMINAY – 6
Shared false nine duties with Jadon Sancho but was overshadowed by those around him. He expects Fulham to be linked, with negotiations between the clubs still ongoing.
CASEMIRO – 7
Captain in Bruno Fernandes’ absence on this tour and he looks like a leader again. On the spot to score United’s third from close range.
AMAD DIALLO – 9
The 22-year-old is truly becoming a star at United. No one will forget his FA Cup win against Liverpool last season and he hit another ball in an all-action display last night.
CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN – 7
A typical Eriksen display. In the right place, at the right time, all the time.
JADON SANCHO – 7
Perhaps the newfound peace between him and his manager will last. At least he doesn’t look like a grumpy star on the field.
MARCUS RASHFORD-9
A penalty goal, an assist and a top-notch performance. He was even seen talking to the coach during the game, which is notable because the pair barely exchanged a word in the second half of last season. The big negative, however – only negative – was that he limped off in the 61st minute, after a challenge that should have resulted in a penalty.
