MANCHESTER UNITED icon Nani has come full circle in his career – joining hometown club Estrela da Amadora.
The 37-year-old Portuguese winger was a free agent after leaving Turkish side Adana Demirspor in May.
He has now signed a one-year contract with Estrela, who finished 14th in the Primeira Liga last season.
They will be the TENTH different club from his well-traveled career.
Nani was born in Amadora, northwest of the capital Lisbon, before making a name for himself at Sporting and then United.
He won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, two League Cups and a Club World Cup during eight years at Old Trafford.
Estrela announced: “Luis Nani has returned to his roots. The Portuguese international returns to Portugal to play for Estrela da Amadora on a one-year contract.
“The footballer will return to play in the Portuguese championship, in the city of Amadora – a city that is particularly special to him.
“That’s where he grew up and where his football adventure began.
“A city that saw a boy become a man and an elite athlete, who won practically everything in the world of football.
