JURGEN KLOPP has revealed he will not return to management shortly after his emotional departure from Liverpool.

Klopp, 57, gained credit for his impressive nine-year spell at Anfield, where he won every major honor, including the Premier League and Champions League.

The German tactician has been linked with some lucrative jobs, including the top job in England after Gareth Southgate resigned following Euro 2024.

However, the former Borussia Dortmund manager has poured cold water on the speculation by insisting that “this is it” for him as a coach for at least the next “few months”.

The Liverpool legend, however, admitted that he would love to work in football in a different way.

Klopp said at the International Coaches Congress in Wurzburg, Germany: “From today, it’s everything for me as a coach.

“I didn’t give up on a whim, but it was a general decision. I also coached the best clubs in the world.

“Maybe we can talk about this again in a few months. I still want to work in football and help people with my experience and contacts. Let’s see what else is in store for me.

“Right now there is nothing in terms of jobs. No club, no country.

“Some people must not have heard this part [about the England job] and it would be the biggest loss of prestige in the history of football if I said: ‘I’m going to make an exception for you now’.

“I’m going to do a job. I’m too young to just play padel and [spend time with] grandchildren.

“Will he be the coach again? In fact, I would rule it out at the moment. We’ll see how it goes in a few months, but nothing is happening at the moment.”

Meanwhile, Klopp plans to enjoy life in his £3.4million villa in Mallorca with his wife Ulla Sandrock.

And although he has no plans to return to management anytime soon, the former Mainz boss insists he is not yet retired.
