MANCHESTER CITY flop Kalvin Phillips is a target for Turkey’s Galatasaray.
The Premier League champions want to find a club for the 28-year-old midfielder, who has struggled since his £45m move to the Etihad in July 2022.
Phillips’ loan spell at West Ham in the second half of last season was a disaster and City have received few inquiries about him this summer.
Reports suggest Everton have shown initial interest – but the 31-cap England star is open to resurrecting his career abroad.
Italian side Roma, German side RB Leipzig and their Austrian sister club RB Salzburg have all been linked with moves for Phillips.
And now Galatasaray have joined the race after reportedly seeing a sub-£12.6m bid for Manchester United’s Scott McTominay rejected.
The Turkish giants won the league last year, leading Fenerbahçe to the title by collecting an incredible 102 points from 38 games.
This means they will compete in the Champions League once again this season.
Last season they were drawn in Man Utd’s group, beating them 3-2 before a thrilling 3-3 draw in the second leg.
Meanwhile, on City’s pre-season tour, Pep Guardiola used Phillips at centre-back in the friendly with Barcelona on Wednesday.
