West Ham have agreed a fee worth £27m to sign German striker Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund.
The 31-year-old scored 15 goals in 46 appearances in his debut season for the Bundesliga club, in which they finished runners-up in the Champions League, after joining from Werder Bremen in a £12.6m deal in the last summer.
Fullkrug also scored two goals in hosts Germany’s run to the Euro 2024 quarter-finals despite not starting.
The Hammers are in search of a striker and have also traded for Aston Villa’s Colombian striker Jhon Duran.
New manager Julen Lopetegui has already signed Wolves captain Max Kilman for £40m goalkeeper Wes Foderingham from Sheffield United and the Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme for £25.5 from Palmeiras.
The Hammers are also interested in signing the winger Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Dutch striker Crysencio Summerville, from Manchester United and Leeds United.
