Ange Postecoglou’s team were in South Korea this week to step up their preparations for the upcoming Premier League season.

After defeating the K-League All Stars team 4-3 on Wednesday, Spurs faced Bayern at Seoul’s World Cup Stadium.

Despite not being able to count on Harry Kane, who continues to rest after England’s journey to the Euro 2024 final, Vincent Kompany’s team dominated Tottenham.

The Bundesliga giants took the lead just three minutes into the game when Gabriel Vidovic capitalized on a chaotic mix-up between Guglielmo Vicario and Djed Spence.

Leon Goretzka doubled Bayern’s lead in the 56th minute, converting into the back of the net from close range.

With Tottenham looking dead and buried, Porro’s 66th-minute goal gave them a lifeline.

The 24-year-old received the ball around 40 meters from goal and advanced immediately.

He then hit an incredible shot past Sven Ulreich and into the corner.

Fans loved the magnificent effort, with one writing on social media: “What a magical goal!”

While a second gushed: “I love him.”

A third said: “The only player in the first half who was good.”

And another fainted: “Put him as a striker!! Bale is reincarnated..”

After a series of substitutions, a young Spurs team pressed for what looked like an unlikely draw.

But they failed to find one, falling to their first defeat of the pre-season.

Spurs will quickly have the chance to exact revenge on Bayern as they welcome them to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next weekend.

It remains to be seen whether Harry Kane will be involved at his former home in north London.
