Former Gibraltar women’s national team coach Adrian Parral has been appointed coach of Billericay Town Women.

Parral spent three years in charge of the island’s national team, which ended in 2018, and was most recently head coach of the Lions Gibraltar FC men’s team, before saying goodbye to them last month.

Billericay play in the third-tier Southern Premier Women’s National League and finished 10th last season, leading to the departure of former manager James Gibson.

“Adrian signs full-time with the aim of building the club to fight for a place in the championship over the next three years,” Billericay posted on X, formerly Twitter.

They will begin the new campaign with a home game against Gawlia United on August 18th.
