FORMER WWE Champion Jinder Mahal has been cut by the company in a surprise move.
The Maharaja was the biggest name to be let go as the company – run by CEO Triple H – continues to eliminate talent.
“I have given up. Maharaja Out,” he confirmed in X before changing his status to “free agent – 90 days”.
Xia Li, Xyon Quinn, Veer Mahaan and Sanga were all dropped alongside Mahal.
Veer and Sanga recently formed a partnership as Indus Sher with Mahal as their manager.
“When it comes to honor and respect for Indians, sacrifice comes first. Goodbye WWE,” posted Veer to confirm the news.
Li was an extremely popular figure in the ring and attracted support from his peers following the announcement.
“Xia is one of my favorite people. We bonded immediately at the performance center,” Chelsea Green wrote in X.
“I’m sad to see her go, but she’s one of the most motivated people I know. It’s only up from here!!”

“I hate hearing that. We need the Tribal Chief on television,” said a fan.
“This comeback will be epic.”
A second said: “Expected, but it hurts to read anyway haha.”
WWE legend The Undertaker has confirmed he is now at peace with his decision to leave the ring following a WrestleMania cameo.
The 59-year-old said in his Six feet under podcast: “I’ve been struggling with this since I retired, but [WrestleMania] weekend gave me closure. It really happened.
“It was fun. Doing this for so long and being involved in it, and how important that storyline was and is.
“When it was all over and I was running out of the building, I thought, ‘I’m okay now.’
“My last game was at the Boneyard and there was no one there. [WrestleMania XL] It was a moment of clarity I had.
“It’s time to turn the page.”
The Undertaker
“I knew it, just like I knew the Boneyard Match would end at four in the morning.
“I’m fine. I had no idea, but after I finished, I was like, ‘You’re good, man, it’s time to turn the page and go to the next chapter.’
“It was a really cool weekend, and to cap it off and wrap up the wrestling part of my career, it was really cool and a great feeling.”
