AEW superstar Darby Allin revealed he was hit by a bus and showed the full extent of his shocking injuries.
Allin, 31, was taken off TV for a month because he wanted to climb Mount Everest, but ended up breaking his foot in his most recent match against Jay White.
The American grappler’s injuries became even worse during his stay in New York, when he was hit by a bus while crossing the street.
The highflier, who gained fame thanks to a series of impressive acrobatics in the ring, took to Instagram and showed a photo of himself in bed with a broken nose, which he suggested was the result of his ordeal.
However, it appears the former TNT champion is doing well as he also shared a photo of himself attending a Broadway show with artist Raymond Pettibon following the accident.
The Seattle grappler’s scars were still evident while his nose was patched up.
Allin posted: “That awkward moment when you [sic] crossing the street in New York with a broken foot and getting hit by a bus……”
A number of AEW stars and fans were absolutely stunned following the professional wrestler’s revelation as they stormed the comments section.
AEW personality Renee Paquette choked: “Excuse me, what now?!?!”
AEW star Taya Valkyrie posted: “OMG WHAT!”
Former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa said, “Dude, what?! I hope you get better soon.”
One fan commented: “What!? Holy crap…”
Another wrote: “Bro.”
And that one said, “Not even the worst bump you’ve had this year. Glad to see you’re [sic] OK brother!”
