Good night from Lyon

Welcome to SunSport’s live blog coverage of WWE Backlash from the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France – Kostas here and I will bring you all the action.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes will defend his title for the first time since ending Roman Reigns’ four-year reign at WrestleMania 40.

And Rhodes faces a baptism of fire when he puts the belt on the line against the legendary AJ Styles.

World heavyweight champion Damian Priest is also ready for his first defense.

Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania and won his first world title from British superstar Drew McIntyre after defeating Seth Rollins.

Now Priest will face Jey Uso, and the Judgment Day champion’s friends Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh certainly aren’t too far away…
