WWE has announced a groundbreaking new deal that will bring its three biggest events to the SAME city.
O Royal Battle premium live event will be held in Indianapolis in 2025.
AND WWEIndiana Sports Corp’s “first-of-its-kind partnership” will also mean that a future Wrestlemania and two nights SummerSlam will also go there in the coming years.
All three shows will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is the home of NFL Indianapolis Colts.
Meanwhile, Indiana arenas (including those in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Evansville) will also host live events from Monday Night Raw, SmackDown, NXT and WWE as part of the deal.
Chris Legentil, WWE Executive Vice President, Talent Relations and Head of Communications, said: “Indianapolis is a fantastic city for major events and we are thrilled to invite the WWE Universe to Lucas Oil Stadium for the Royal Rumble in 2025, and a future SummerSlam and WrestleMania.”
WWE’s ‘Big Three’ have a combined economic impact of over $300 million.
And both WrestleMania and Royal Rumble set all-time WWE records for viewership, box office, sponsorship, merchandise and social media this year.
Indiana Sports Corp, established in 1979, has hosted more than 500 national and international sporting events, including Super Bowl XLVI.
It is still unclear when WrestleMania and SummerSlam will take place in Indianapolis.
The earliest WrestleMania could happen will be 2026, as Las Vegas has already been confirmed as next year’s host.
SummerSlam will be in Cleveland this year and in Minneapolis in 2026.
But there was no confirmed location for the 2025 edition.
The next Royal Rumble will be on February 1, 2025.
A WrestleMania took place in Indianapolis in 1992.
A crowd of 62,167 packed the Hoosier Dome, the former home of the Colts, to watch the wrestling.
