WWE legend Ric Flair rages over ESPN snubbing him from Top 100 Athletes list before making shocking first-take appearance

WWE legend Ric Flair criticized ESPN’s decision to leave him off the list of the 100 greatest athletes of the 21st century.

Flair, who was a WWE mainstay for decades, called himself a “cultural icon” and “global sensation” while criticizing the decision to leave him out.

Flair took to X, the site formerly known as Twitter, to give his opinion.

And he certainly left no one in doubt about how he felt.

“How the hell on God’s Green Earth is Ric Flair not considered one of the top 100 athletes in the world???” He wrote.

“Actually, I should have been in the top 10.

“16 world titles, actually 22. Matches lasting 1,200 hours, 15 years without a break; a cultural icon and a global sensation.

“My God, so many people have lost sight of what greatness really is! I’ve never had a calf muscle strain.

“Oh, how times have changed! What a bunch of bitches!

“I understand Tom Brady and all, but come on, let’s be serious!”

This was a huge outburst, and as you can imagine, fans were quick to respond.

“Valid point, Ric. I just looked at the list. What is a cricketer doing on that list!?!?” one fan said.

“Don’t worry Ric, you’ll always be at the top of fans’ lists,” someone else posted.

“This list is only from the 21st century though Ric, there must be a reason,” said a third fan.

ESPN selected Olympic swimming icon Michael Phelps as No. 1 on its list.

Tennis great Serena Williams, recently retired from the sport, came in second place.
