O Instagram announced, this Thursday (8), an update to the platform, which now allows users to add up to 20 photos or videos in a single post in the feed. Previously, the function, called carousel, launched in 2017, only allowed the possibility of including 10 items.
The new feature even comes as a plus for those who like to create “photo dumps”. In fact, this type of publication continues to be on the rise especially because it brings together records of random moments, without edits, filters or effects.
Upon entering the platform, Instagram is notifying the public about the update. “Share more moments. Add up to 20 photos or videos in your next post”, says the alert on the selection page.
According to published website The Vergethe new feature allows the network to be more aligned with TikTok, as the platform supports publications with up to 35 photos.
