The Sun emitted a strong solar flare, peaking at 1:26 pm this Sunday (12). O Solar Observatory of NASAan unmanned NASA probe that studies star processes that directly affect life on Earth, captured an image of the event. look above.
The image shows a subset of extreme ultraviolet light that highlights the extremely hot material in the explosions, which is colored bluish-green. The phenomenon is seen in the bright flash in the lower right corner of the photo.
The solar flare was classified as X10, where X demonstrates more intense flares and the number classifies its strength. Depending on how they impact Earth, these storms can disrupt communications, electrical power, navigation, and radio and satellite operations.
In recent days, the Solar Observatory of NASA recorded several solar flares. Northern and southern lights occurred at both poles of the planet as a result of explosions on the Sun. See photos here.
