The messaging app Whatsapp had problems in the early afternoon of this Thursday (27).
According to the Downdetector platform, the number of complaints from WhatsApp users peaked at around 1:30 pm. Most of the complaints include difficulties in sending messages, both in the mobile application and in the web version, on the computer.
On social networks, users also pointed out problems sending media files, such as audios and photos.
The official WhatsApp profile on X, formerly Twitter, also commented on the instability and said it was already working to resolve the problem. “We are aware of issues with media delivery and are working to resolve them as quickly as possible,” says the tweet.
A CNN contacted WhatsApp and is awaiting a response.
